Main Entrance (88k) This is the west entrance of Ta Phrom,
built by Jayavarman VII as a Buddhist temple dedicated to his mother.

and was maintained by 79,365 people according to an inscription here.

Great view of approach (84k) Ta Phrom was built in 1186 by Jayavarman
VII as Buddhist temple. It is one of the largest structures in the Angkor
area.

Giant Roots Wrap Around (68k) Obviously at Ta Phrom nature has been allowed to continue to take her course unabated.

4 Faces of Lokeshvara (100k) This one is relatively well preserved,
although people really come here to see trees totally integrated with
temple.

Destroy from Top Down (88k) Birds drop seeds, trees grow, cracks widen
.... giant trees hundreds of years old are slowly but surely destroying
Ta Phrom.
